On Monday, July 31, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China gained RMB 30 per tonne, settling at RMB 18,380 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 per tonne to a premium price of RMB 20 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 18,360 per tonne and RMB 18,400 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}The prices have grown in all the provinces except in Gongyi, where it has shown no change to halt at RMB 18,320 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Foshan ascended by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,390 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 30 per tonne in Chongqing, Shenyang, and Linyi to halt at RMB 18,380 per tonne, RMB 18,340 per tonne and RMB 18,430 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the domestic aluminium ingot prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have expanded by RMB 20 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,370 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price has moved up by RMB 10 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,360 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has hiked by RMB 19 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,025 per tonne. The average alumina spot price has inched up by RMB 1 per tonne to stop at RMB 2,872 per tonne, followed by a hike of RMB 10 per tonne in Shandong to score at RMB 2,825 per tonne. The prices in Henan, Guizhou and Guangxi have increased by RMB 5 per tonne to clock at RMB 2,900 per tonne, RMB 2,865 per tonne and RMB 2,870 per tonne.
The Australian alumina powder price has been uplifted by RMB 6 per kg to reach RMB 331 per kg. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has gained RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,000 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,800 per tonne and RMB 19,200 per tonne.
