The price progress of alumina in the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) has continued to maintain its upward trajectory, arriving at RMB 5,209 per tonne as of today. The alumina price has hiked by RMB 41 per tonne and W-o-W the price has grown by 5.23 per cent from RMB 4,950 per tonne on October 29.

Region-wise price changes
As per the SMM data, the prices have grown in all the provinces, with the highest in Lianyungang and Bayuquan, where it has surged by RMB 200 per tonne to clock at RMB 5,300 per tonne. The prices in Guangxi, Shanxi and Henan have escalated by RMB 75 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne (Henan and Shanxi) to dock at RMB 5,125 per tonne, RMB 5300 per tonne and RMB 5,210 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the alumina prices in Shandong and Guizhou have grown by RMB 35 per tonne and RMB 25 per tonne to halt at RMB 5,185 per tonne and RMB 5,125 per tonne.
A00 aluminium ingot
On the same day, the A00 aluminium ingot price gained RMB 230 per tonne to peg at RMB 21,060 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 50 to RMB 90 per tonne. The average prices may range between RMB 21,040 per tonne and RMB 21,080 per tonne.
The price of domestic aluminium ingot has added RMB 240 per tonne in Gongyi to rest at RMB 21,020 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 230 per tonne in Foshan, Wuxi and Linyi to arrive at RMB 20,930 per tonne, RMB 21,070 per tonne and RMB 21,060 per tonne. In Hangzhou and Shenyang, the prices have expanded by RMB 220 per tonne and RMB 200 per tonne, arriving at RMB 21,060 per tonne and RMB 20,980 per tonne. In Chongqing and Tianjin the A00 aluminium ingot prices have gained RMB 210 per tonne and RMB 180 per tonne to halt at RMB 21,000 per tonne and RMB 21,010 per tonne.
Other prices
The price of low-carbon aluminium has also heightened by RMB 233 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,019 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have escalated by RMB 300 per tonne to reach RMB 28,100 per tonne and RMB 29,100 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has hiked by RMB 200 per tonne to arrive at RMB 21,500 per tonne, with the average prices expected to stand between RMB 21,300 per tonne and RMB 21,700 per tonne. For (ADC12) and (A380) the prices have ascended by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 21,000 per tonne and RMB 22,000 per tonne.
For (ADC12) the average prices are expected to range between RMB 20,900 per tonne and RMB 21,100 per tonne. The average prices for (A380) may orbit between RMB 21,900 per tonne and RMB 22,100 per tonne.
