According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the average alumina spot price in China has slipped by RMB 26 per tonne to close at RMB 3,127 per tonne on Tuesday, March 1.
For the same day in Henan and Shanxi, the price has slumped by RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to register at RMB 3,180 per tonne and RMB 3,095 per tonne. In other provinces like Shandong and Guizhou the price has fallen down by RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 35 per tonne to settle at RMB 3,090 per tonne and RMB 3,085 per tonne. In Guangxi, the price has decreased by RMB 35 per tonne to total at RMB 3,100 per tonne. However, in other provinces like Lianyungang and Bayuquan, the price has remained unchanged since February 16 to score at RMB 3,125 per tonne and RMB 3,250 per tonne.
A00 Aluminium ingot price in China has declined by RMB 150 per tonne to peg at RMB 22,550 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to orbit between RMB 22,530 per tonne and RMB 22,570 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 90-50 per tonne.
In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has plummeted by RMB 150 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,540 per tonne and RMB 22,550 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, the price has fallen sharply by RMB 140 per tonne to record at RMB 22,550 per tonne and RMB 22,560 per tonne. In other provinces like Gongyi and Shenyang, the price has fallen down by RMB 130 per tonne to score at RMB 22,420 per tonne and RMB 22,550 per tonne.
For the same day in Foshan and Chongqing the price has descended by RMB 170 per tonne and RMB 160 per tonne to total at RMB 22,550 per tonne and RMB 22,450 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price has remained restrained since February 24 to close at RMB 22,350 per tonne and RMB 22,350 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A356) price has nosedived by RMB 200 per tonne to score at RMB 23,800 per tonne, with average prices expected to range between RMB 23,700 per tonne and RMB 23,900 per tonne.
