China’s A00 aluminium ingot price ascends to RMB19,110/t; Alumina price gains RMB5/t

On Thursday, October 19, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price gained RMB 90 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,110 per tonne, with the spot contract price traded at a premium price of RMB 90 to RMB 130 per tonne. The average price on the same day may range between RMB 19,090 per tonne and RMB 19,130 per tonne.

As per the SMM data, the prices in Chongqing and Linyi have hiked by RMB 160 per tonne and RMB 140 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,070 per tonne and RMB 19,090 per tonne. In Wuxi and Shenyang, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have ascended by RMB 120 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,040 per tonne and RMB 19,090 per tonne. The price in Hangzhou has added RMB 110 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,030 per tonne. In Gongyi and Foshan, the domestic aluminium ingot prices have expanded by RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to close at RMB 19,020 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne. In Tianjin, the prices have grown by RMB 40 per tonne to reach RMB 19,110 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has increased by RMB 69 per tonne to a halt at RMB 19,944 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have ascended by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price has added RMB 5 per tonne to clock at RMB 2,992 per tonne. As per the data, the price in Henan has ascended by RMB 10 per tonne to peg at RMB 3,000 per tonne. On the same day, the alumina prices in Shandong, Shanxi and Guizhou expanded by RMB 5 per tonne to reach RMB 2,965 per tonne, RMB 3,000 per tonne and RMB 2,970 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has lost US$2 per tonne to clock at RMB 337 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) has spiked by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,550 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,450 per tonne and RMB 19,650 per tonne.

The price of aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A380) have added RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,550 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne. For (A380), the average prices may orbit between RMB 20,450 per tonne and RMB 20,650 per tonne.
