On Friday, April 28, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has slipped by RMB 90 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,480 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 30 per tonne and a premium price of RMB 10 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,460 per tonne and RMB 18,500 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}As per the SMM data, the price in Chongqing has plunged, the highest at RMB 190 per tonne to score at RMB 18,680 per tonne. On the same day, prices in Gongyi, Shenyang and Linyi descended by RMB 90 per tonne to record at RMB 18,400 per tonne, and RMB 18,530 per tonne, respectively. In Foshan, Wuxi, and Hangzhou, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have dropped by RMB 80 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,600 per tonne, RMB 18,485 per tonne and RMB 18,510 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price has slipped by RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 18,560 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has declined by RMB 79 per tonne to reach RMB 19,172 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have dwindled by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27,200 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has dropped by RMB 100 per tonne to record RMB 19,300 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne. Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have dipped by RMB 50 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne. For aluminium alloys (ADC12), the average prices are expected to stand between RMB 18,900 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average prices may orbit between RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne.
