On Wednesday, November 29, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has contracted by RMB 80 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,770 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,750 per tonne and RMB 18,790 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 60 per tonne to RMB 20 per tonne.
Domestic aluminium ingot prices have fallen in all the provinces, with the highest in Linyi, slumping by RMB 140 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,770 per tonne. As per Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data, the aluminium ingot prices in Tianjin and Chongqing have also decreased by RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,770 per tonne. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the domestic aluminium ingot prices have descended by RMB 90 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,750 per tonne and RMB 18,760 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Gongyi and Foshan dropped by RMB 80 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,790 per tonne and RMB 18,880 per tonne. In Shenyang, the aluminium ingot price has moved down by RMB 50 per tonne to reach RMB 18,820 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has also slipped by RMB 73 per tonne to a halt at RMB 19,636 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have contracted by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 26,400 per tonne and RMB 27,400 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has decreased by RMB50 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,450 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne. The price of aluminium powder has inched down by RMB 0.1 per kg to clock at RMB 21.3 per kg, with the average prices ranging between RMB 21.2 per kg and RMB 21.4 per kg.
