On Tuesday, April 23, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price dwindled by RMB 420 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,270 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount of RMB 70 to RMB 30 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the prices in Foshan and Gongyi have contracted by RMB 430 per tonne and RMB 420 per tonne to halt at RMB 20,220 per tonne and RMB 20,210 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have nosedived by RMB 400 per tonne to arrive at RMB 20,270 per tonne, followed by a downfall of the same amount in Hangzhou to settle at RMB 20,240 per tonne.
In Linyi and Tianjin, the domestic aluminium ingot prices have decreased by RMB 410 per tonne and RMB 400 per tonne, settling at RMB 20,330 per tonne and RMB 20,270 per tonne. In Shenyang, the price dropped by RMB 370 per tonne to RMB 20,240 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price has added RMB 3 per tonne to settle at RMB 3,311 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 10 per tonne in Shandong and RMB 5 per tonne in Shanxi to rest at RMB 3,280 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has lost RMB 0.4 per kg to dock at RMB 22.7 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 22.6 per kg and RMB 22.8 per kg.
Other prices
The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have fallen by RMB 400 per tonne to stand at RMB 27,600 per tonne and RMB 28,600 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has slumped by RMB 400 per tonne to clock at RMB 20,850 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 20,700 per tonne and RMB 21,000 per tonne.
On the same day, the prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have dropped by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,700 per tonne and RMB 21,700 per tonne. As per the data, the average price for (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 20,600 per tonne and RMB 20,800 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price may orbit between RMB 21,600 per tonne and RMB 21,800 per tonne.
