On Friday, November 17, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slumps by RMB 120 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,810 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 18,790 per tonne and RMB 18,830 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 50 to RMB 10 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the prices in Wuxi and Linyi have contracted by RMB 110 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,810 per tonne and RMB 18,860 per tonne. The prices in Foshan, Hangzhou and Tianjin have slumped by RMB 90 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,960 per tonne, RMB 18,840 per tonne and RMB 18,870 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Gongyi and Chongqing have fallen by RMB 70 per tonne, stopping at RMB 18,740 per tonne and RMB 18,850 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has descended by RMB 108 per tonne to a halt at RMB 19,704 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have decreased by RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 26,400 per tonne and RMB 27,400 per tonne.
On the same day, the average alumina spot price has fallen by RMB 4 per tonne to clock at RMB 2,998 per tonne. The prices in Shandong and Shanxi have decreased by RMB 10 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,955 per tonne and RMB 3,000 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has gone down by RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,500 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne.
For aluminium alloys (ADC12) and (A380), the prices have dipped by RMB 50 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne.The average price for (ADC12) is expected to be between RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 19,450 per tonne. For (A380) the average prices may stand between RMB 20,250 per tonne and RMB 20,450 per tonne.
