On Monday, January 15, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price opened the week with a fall of RMB 110 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,020 per tonne. As per the data, a decline of RMB 140 per tonne was witnessed W-o-W from RMB 19,160 per tonne recorded on January 8.
As of today, the spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 30 to a premium price of RMB 10 per tonne. On the same day, the average prices may stand between RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,040 per tonne. The domestic aluminium ingot prices in Chongqing and Shenyang have gained RMB 45 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne, settling at RMB 19,145 per tonne and RMB 19,150 per tonne.
In provinces like Gongyi, Wuxi and Hangzhou, the aluminium ingot prices have dropped by RMB 110 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,970 per tonne, RMB 19,030 and RMB 19,020 per tonne. In Foshan, the price has dipped by RMB 100 per tonne to arrive at RMB 19,040 per tonne. In Linyi and Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have slumped by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne to reach RMB 19,080 per tonne and MRB 19,100 per tonne.
On the same day, the high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) declined by RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12), aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A380) have dropped by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 20,050 per tonne, RMB 19,650 per tonne and RMB 21,050 per tonne.
The average price for (ADC12) is expected to stand between RMB 19,950 per tonne and RMB 20,150 per tonne. For (A356), the average prices may orbit between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. As per the SMM data, for (A380) the average prices may stand between RMB 20,950 per tonne and RMB 21,150 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.1 per kg to arrive at RMB 21.6 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 21.5 per kg and RMB 21.7 per kg.
