On Monday, March 27, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 80 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,400 per tonne. On a W-o-W calculation, a hike of RMB 160 was witnessed from RMB 18,240 per tonne recorded on Monday, March 20. Today, the average prices are expected to be between RMB 18, 380 per tonne and RMB 18,420 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 80 to RMB 40 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}The prices in Foshan and Chongqing have expanded by RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 90 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,510 per tonne and RMB 18,540 per tonne. On the same day, prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have increased by RMB 80 per tonne to score at RMB 18,395 per tonne and RMB 18,430 per tonne. In Linyi, the A00 aluminium ingot price has ascended by RMB 70 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,450 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Gongyi and Tianjin have moved up by RMB 60 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,320 per tonne and RMB 18,400 per tonne. In Shenyang, the price has gone up by RMB 10 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,380 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has surged by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,092 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have hiked by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27,200 per tonne.
The Australian alumina FOB price has decreased by US$2 per tonne to halt at US$363 per tonne. The aluminium alloy (A356) price has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,300 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has also inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to stop at RMB 20.2 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 20.1 per kg to RMB 20.3 per kg.
