On Tuesday, December 12, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China gained RMB 60 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,440 per tonne, with the average prices expected to stand between RMB 18,420 per tonne and RMB 18,460 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 70 to RMB 30 per tonne.
As per the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data, the prices have grown in all regions except Tianjin, where they have slumped by RMB 130 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,440 per tonne. In Foshan and Wuxi, the prices have added RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to stop at RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,430 per tonne. On the same day, the domestic aluminium ingot prices in Gongyi and Chongqing have ascended by RMB 60 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,560 per tonne and RMB 18,490 per tonne. The prices in Hangzhou, Shenyang and Linyi have also hiked by RMB 40 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,440 per tonne, RMB 18,480 per tonne and RMB 18,540 per tonne.
The low carbon aluminium price has added RMB 87 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,322 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have grown by RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 26,150 per tonne and RMB 27,150 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12), aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A380) have hiked by RMB 50 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,350 per tonne, RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) may range between RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 19,450 per tonne. For (A356), the average price may clock between RMB 18,900 per tonne and RMB 19,300 per tonne, and for (A380), it is expected to orbit between RMB 20,250 per tonne and RMB 20,450 per tonne.
The price of aluminium powder has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to settle at RMB 21.1 per kg, with the average prices expected to stand between RMB 21 per kg and RMB 21.2 per kg.
