A00 aluminium ingot price has slumped by RMB 10 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 18,580 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on March 30, Thursday. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,560 per tonne and RMB 18,600 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at discount prices of RMB 80 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne. Throughout mid-March, China’s aluminium ingot price has been on a downward slope, resting at RMB 18,550 per tonne on March 3, which is the closest to the price recorded today.
{alcircleadd}The eight provinces in China all have projected declining sentiments today, with the aluminium price falling highest in Tianjin by RMB 40 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 18,550 per tonne. The aluminium prices in Chongqing and Linyi have marked RMB 30 per tonne descent, halting at RMB 18,700 per tonne and RMB 18,610 per tonne, respectively. In Wuxi, the aluminium price has stopped at RMB 18,565 per tonne with a subtraction of RMB 20 per tonne. Again, in Gongyi and Hangzhou, the aluminium prices have plunged by RMB 10 per tonne, resting at RMB 18,460 per tonne and RMB 18,580 per tonne. Only in Foshan and Shenyang, there is no measurable change today, with prices staying stuck at RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,570 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has refrained from any notable alteration resting at RMB 19,292 per tonne.
The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price remained stoic at RMB 26,400 per tonne and RMB 27,400 per tonne.
The price of aluminium powder has not changed, staying halted at RMB 20.40 per kg.
