On Wednesday, November 27, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 60 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,540 per tonne with the average prices standing between RMB 20,520 per tonne and RMB 20,560 per tonne. The prices have fallen in all the provinces, with the highest in Linyi, where it has declined by RMB 120 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,480 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}On the same day, the prices in Gongyi and Hangzhou have contracted by RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 20,570 per tonne. In Foshan, Wuxi and Chongqing, the domestic aluminium ingot prices have descended by RMB 60 per tonne to dock at RMB 20,460 per tonne, RMB 20,530 per tonne and RMB 20,490 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin the prices have lost RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to halt at RMB 20,550 per tonne and RMB 20,530 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has decreased by RMB 73 per tonne to reach RMB 21,530 per tonne. For high purity aluminium (99.99%) and high purity aluminium (99.996%) have remained unchanged at RMB 27,600 per tonne and RMB 28,600 per tonne.
However, on the other hand, the alumina price hike rate has slowed relatively. As per the SMM data, the alumina price has added RMB 6 per tonne to halt at RMB 5,717 per tonne. In regions like Shanxi, Guizhou and Guangxi, the prices have moved up by RMB 10 per tonne to settle at RMB 5,780 per tonne, RMB 5,670 per tonne and RMB 5,660 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has lost RMB 50 per tonne to arrive at RMB 21,000 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 20,800 per tonne and RMB 21,200 per tonne. For (ADC12) and (A380) the prices have remained unchanged at RMB 20,800 per tonne and RMB 21,800 per tonne.
