On Tuesday, October 31, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price dropped by RMB 70 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,080 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,060 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 60 per tonne.
As per the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data, the prices in all the provinces have fallen except in Shenyang, where it has gained RMB 20 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,040 per tonne. In other provinces like Gongyi, the domestic aluminium ingot price has dipped by RMB 90 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,920 per tonne. On the same day, in Foshan, Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price slipped by RMB 70 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,090 per tonne and RMB 19,060 per tonne.
In Chongqing, the A00 aluminium ingot price has slumped by RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,080 per tonne. As per the SMM data, in Tianjin and Linyi, the prices have lost RMB 20 per tonne to reach RMB 19,080 per tonne. The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has contracted RMB 62 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,917 per tonne.
On the same day, the high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have fallen by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 26,600 per tonne and RMB 27,600 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has dipped by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,750 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB 19,900 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.1 per kg to clock at RMB 21.3 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 21.2 per kg and RMB 21.4 per kg.
