A00 aluminium ingot price has plummeted by RMB 440 per tonne to close at RMB 17,860 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Monday, October 31. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,840 per tonne and RMB 17,880 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at the discount price of RMB 40 per tonne.
The provinces in China have witnessed hugely decreasing prices today, with the A00 aluminium ingot price dropping the highest in Linyi by RMB 490 per tonne to stop at RMB 17,860 per tonne, followed by RMB 430 per tonne fall in Wuxi resting at RMB 17,860 per tonne. In Shenyang, the aluminium price came in at RMB 17,920 per tonne with a downfall of RMB 420 per tonne, whereas in Foshan and Tianjin, the prices dropped by RMB 410 per tonne to accumulate at RMB 18,030 per tonne and RMB 17,940 per tonne. In provinces like Hangzhou and Chongqing, the aluminium prices stood at RMB 17,910 per tonne and RMB 18,050 per tonne, with a fall of RMB 400 per tonne. The price of aluminium in Gongyi has plunged by RMB 350 per tonne, settling at RMB 17,920 per tonne.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has shed RMB 415 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,633 per tonne on Monday, October 31.
The prices of high purity aluminium (99.99%) and high purity aluminium (99.996%) both have lost RMB 400 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27,200 per tonne.
The bauxite price in Guizhou has gained RMB 15 per tonne to close at RMB 360 per tonne. The price of bauxite in Shanxi has escalated by RMB 12.50 per tonne to RMB 450 per tonne, while the price of bauxite in Henan has glided up by RMB 7.50 per tonne to RMB 462.50 per tonne. The bauxite price in Guangxi has been boosted by RMB 5 per tonne to stand at RMB 317.50 per tonne. The Guinea Bauxite CIF price rested at US$71 per tonne with an addition of US$1 per tonne, whereas the Malaysia Bauxite CIF price earned US$8 per tonne to stop at US$44 per tonne.
The Australian Alumina FOB price has seen a rise of US$6 per tonne, halting at US$316 per tonne on Monday, October 31.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has shot down by RMB 550 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,100 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,200 per tonne, says SMM. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have fallen by RMB 250 per tonne to RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne, respectively.
The aluminium powder price in China has lost RMB 0.40 per kg to settle at RMB 19.80 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 19.70 per tonne and RMB 19.90 per tonne.
