On Monday, June 26, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China opened the week after the Dragon Boat Festival with a downfall of RMB 360 per tonne or 1.91 per cent to peg at RMB 18,470 per tonne. However, on M-o-M calculation, a surge of RMB 310 per tonne was recorded from RMB 18,160 per tonne on May 26.
{alcircleadd}Today the spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 280 per tonne and RMB 230 per tonne, and the average prices may stand between RMB 18,450 per tonne and RMB 18,490 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot prices in Hangzhou and Wuxi have plummeted by RMB 360 per tonne and RMB 350 per tonne to close at RMB 18,470 per tonne. On the same day, in Gongyi and Foshan, the prices have dwindled by RMB 320 per tonne and RMB 310 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,290 per tonne and RMB 18,520 per tonne. In Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 290 per tonne to close at RMB 18,490 per tonne. In Chongqing, Shenyang and Linyi, the prices have slipped by RMB 20 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,830 per tonne, RMB 18,780 per tonne and RMB 18,730 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has contracted by RMB 315 per tonne to halt at RMB to reside at RMB 19,113 per tonne. The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have nosedived by RMB 400 per tonne to stop at RMB 25,900 per tonne and RMB 26,900 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has fallen by RMB 350 per tonne to close at RMB 19,150 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,300 per tonne. For aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price, a dip of RMB 100 per tonne has been recorded, with the prices closing at RMB 18,400 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to orbit between RMB 18,300 per tonne and RMB 18,500 per tonne. For (A380) the average prices may stand between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne.
