China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slumps by RMB40/t to RMB 18,760 /t; Low carbon aluminium price slips to RMB19,369/t

On Monday, December 26, A00 aluminium ingot price in China slipped by RMB 40 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,760 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,740 per tonne and RMB 18,780 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 120 to RMB 160 per tonne.

The prices in Hangzhou and Linyi have climbed up by RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,850 per tonne and RMB 18,790 per tonne. On the other hand, in Foshan and Gongyi, the prices have slipped by RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,780 per tonne and RMB 18,620 per tonne. On the same day in Chongqing and Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,780 per tonne. In Wuxi, the price went down by RMB 15 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,805 per tonne. In Shenyang, the price showed no change to, settling at RMB 18,750 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has slumped by RMB 48 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,369 per tonne. The aluminium alloy (A356) price has dropped by RMB 50 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,950 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne.

The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have shown no change to close at RMB 26,800 per tonne and RMB 27,800 per tonne.
