China’s A00 aluminium price ascends by RMB30/t; Alumina price in Shandong sheds RMB15/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has glided up by RMB 30 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,280 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Friday, November 4. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,260 per tonne and RMB 18,300 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at the premium price of 10 per tonne and 50 per tonne.

The provinces in China have recorded escalating prices today, with the A00 aluminium ingot price rising the highest in Linyi by RMB 70 per tonne to stop at RMB 18,400 per tonne, followed by RMB 40 per tonne hike in Gongyi and Chongqing closing at RMB 18,410 per tonne and RMB 18,510 per tonne. The aluminium price in Wuxi has decked at RMB 18,290 per tonne with an escalation of RMB 30 per tonne, while in Hangzhou and Tianjin both, the aluminium prices had a similar spike arriving at RMB 18,330 per tonne each. The price of aluminium in Foshan and Shenyang has marked an RMB 20 per tonne boost, closing at RMB 18,600 per tonne and RMB 18,250 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has gained RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,203 per tonne on Friday, November 4.

The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) both have remained stagnant at RMB 26,600 per tonne and RMB 27,600 per tonne.

The average alumina price has shed RMB 4 per tonne, stopping at RMB 2,782 per tonne, whereas the alumina price in Shandong has lost RMB 15 per tonne, closing at RMB 2,720 per tonne. The alumina price in Guangxi has seen RMB 10 per tonne cut, halting at RMB 2,705 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has soared by RMB 50 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,550 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne, says SMM. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have refrained from any change whatsoever.

The aluminium powder price in China has shown no alteration staying stoic at RMB 20.10 per kg, as it was the previous day.
