Headquartered in Sweden, Emballator, a packaging unit, has just launched their six mono-material PE or aluminium tubes made with green energy, namely, twist off Recap, twist off Reseal, twist off reclose aluminium and capped aluminium tube models.
{alcircleadd}The entire range was created using mono-material PE, post-consumer recycled aluminium and aluminium.
The tubes can be custom made according to medicinal specifications for pharmaceutical uses or standard grades. As the company claims, its products are manufactured by meeting certificate standards of ISO 9001:2015, 15378:2017 and ISA 14001.
“Our flagship product in this range is our new Twist off Recap. It is a new tube with an integrated cap solution. This integrated cap reduces the material content by 10% and the optimized manufacturing process minimizes the carbon footprint,” the sales and marketing manager, Jim Johannesson remarked.
The company says this innovation is for small doses of medicine or ointment, and technically smaller pieces leave behind smaller footprints. Moreover, Emballator claims that all its products are manufactured using green electricity.
Jim Johannesson, the sales and marketing manager at Emballator Tectubes, commented: “All products in this new range have been created with a focus on sustainability. They are all made of mono-materials which make them easy to recycle.”
“We will present this new range to the market when we participate at the Cosmetic Business fair in Munich on the 1st and 2nd of June. We are so excited to talk to both existing and new customers about this new innovative and sustainable tube range,” Johannesson declared.
Emballator had previously introduced a series of tubes made from 100 per cent post-consumer recycled aluminium and green aluminium. Therefore, this venture is not the first attempt for the company to reduce the carbon footprint of its products.
The company had already released a range of mono-material tubes with inbuilt applicators for external and internal pharmaceutical and healthcare possibilities, specifically for female consumers.
