On Wednesday, September 20, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 20 per tonne to close at RMB 19,490 per tonne. According to the Shanghai Metal Exchange (SMM) data, the domestic aluminium ingot price had a growth of RMB 60 per tonne W-o-W from RMB 19,430 per tonne on September 13. Today, the average prices are expected to stand between RMB 19,470 per tonne and RMB 19,510 per tonne, with a spot contract price to be traded at a premium of RMB 230 to RMB 270 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}The price of the A00 aluminium ingot has fallen by RMB 60 per tonne in Tianjin to close at RMB 19,480 per tonne. On the same day, prices in Foshan, Hangzhou and Linyi slipped by RMB 20 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 19,490 per tonne, respectively.
In Wuxi and Shenyang, SMM aluminium ingot prices have descended by RMB 10 per tonne, stopping at RMB 19,510 per tonne and RMB 19,440 per tonne. Only in Gongyi and Chongqing the prices have stayed the same, settling at RMB 19,410 per tonne and RMB 19,390 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has dipped by RMB 15 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,031 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) has remained the same at RMB 19,650 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 19,550 per tonne and RMB 19,750 per tonne. As per the data, for both (A356) and (A380), the prices have shown no change at RMB 20,150 per tonne and RMB 20,650 per tonne.
