As per the SMM market price chart, the alumina spot price in China has increased by RMB 5 per tonne to rest at RMB 2,881 per tonne, while the alumina price in Shandong has rocketed RMB 10 per tonne, closing at RMB 2,840 per tonne.
Other than that, the SMM alumina price in Henan, Shanxi and Guangxi have all escalated by RMB 5 per tonne to officially anchor at RMB 2,905 per tonne, RMB 2,895 per tonne and RMB 2,880 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}The Bauxite (4.5≤Al/Si<5.5) price and Bauxite (6.0≤Al/Si<7.0) in Henan have gained RMB 5 per tonne to settle at RMB 495 per tonne and RMB 620 per tonne.
The Shanghai Metal Market, today, on August 2, has marked a slump of RMB 40 per tonne in China’s aluminium ingot price, officially halting at RMB 18,540 per tonne, with average prices circling between RMB 18,520 per tonne and RMB 18,560 per tonne.
According to the China aluminium price chart, on June 30, the price was accurately the same as it is today, at RMB 18,540 per tonne, and it was the same on July 4 as well, signifying the fact that there has been no noticeable change in one month and the SMM aluminium price has maintained a fixed boundary.
The eight major provinces in China have all witnessed declining prices today, excluding Linyi, where the official aluminium price has clocked at RMB 18,580 per tonne, with an augmentation of RMB 150 per tonne. In Gongyi and Chongqing, the aluminium price index showed a drop of RMB 40 per tonne, resting at RMB 18,440 per tonne and RMB 18,550 per tonne, respectively. The aluminium price in Foshan has dived by RMB 30 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,570 per tonne. Wuxi, Hangzhou, and Shenyang have all lost RMB 20 per tonne, with the first two officially closing at RMB 15,540 per tonne and the last at RMB 18,500 per tonne. In Tianjin, the aluminium price has shed RMB 10 per tonne, stopping at RMB 18,520 per tonne.
The average price of low-carbon aluminium has fallen by RMB 27 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,246 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) and the price of aluminium alloy (A360) have both dropped RMB 50 per tonne, closing at RMB 19,150 per tonne and RMB 19,650 per tonne, respectively.
