International Mining & Machinery Exhibition 2024
India ranks as the world's third-largest producer of coal, following China and the U.S., and holds the top position in mica block production. It is also fourth in chromite, iron ore, fifth in aluminum, sixth in manganese ore, and seventh in bauxite. The global mining equipment market was valued at approximately USD 141.31 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.2% from 2023 to 2030. To tap into the potential of the mining and machinery sector, the CII is hosting the 17th International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME 2024) from October 23 to 26, 2024, at the Science City Exhibition Ground in Kolkata, India.
A key feature of IMME 2024 will be the B2B meetings, which offer participants a chance to connect with domestic and international delegates, CEOs, speakers, exhibitors, and business visitors in the mining and machinery sectors. These meetings will help attendees identify potential business partners, forge new collaborations, find clients and suppliers, expand their networks, and promote their brands.
