A00 aluminium ingot price in China has jumped by RMB 320 per tonne, marking the third consecutive day of hike. According to the Shanghai Metals Market data, the surge on Friday, June 11, has brought the primary aluminium ingot price at RMB 18,830 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,810 per tonne and RMB 18,850 per tonne, with spot contract likely to be traded at a premium price of RMB 30-10 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}In Wuxi, Hangzhou, and Shenyang, A00 aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 320 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,845 per tonne, RMB 18,855 per tonne, and RMB 18,810 per tonne, respectively. The price in Gongyi, Chongqing, and Tianjin has increased by RMB 300 per tonne to RMB 18,830 per tonne, RMB 18,860 per tonne, and RMB 18,810 per tonne, while Foshan and Linyi have witnessed a hike of RMB 290 per tonne and RMB 270 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,010 per tonne and RMB 18,820 per tonne, respectively, as of June 11.
Backed on the increase in A00 aluminium ingot price, aluminium alloy (A356) price has climbed RMB 300 per tonne to close at RMB 19,550 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne.
But on the other hand, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 18,600 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, bauxite (6.5≤Al/Si<7.5) price in Guangxi and aluminium powder price have inched up by RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 0.30 per kg to come in at RMB 290 per tonne and RMB 22.35 per kg on June 11.
