A00 aluminium ingot price stands at RMB13920/t; China’s aluminium billet inventories down by 13,500 tonnes

A00 aluminium ingot price dropped by RMB 10 per tonne or 0.07 per cent on Friday, 15 November 2019 after registering an increase yesterday. The price declined from RMB 13930 per tonne to RMB 13920 per tonne. The price is expected to range within RMB 13900-13940 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a discount of RMB 500-460 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Foshan, Tianjin and Linyi were down by RMB 10 per tonne each to stand at RMB 13870 per tonne, RMB 13900 per tonne, and RMB 13990 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range within RMB 13850-13890 per tonne, RMB 13890-13910 per tonne, and RMB 13980-14000 per tonne.

Gongyi aluminium price was up by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 13845 per tonne. The average price is expected to range within RMB 13840-13850 per tonne. Aluminium ingot prices in Wuxi, Hangzhou, Chongqing, and Shenyang remained unchanged at RMB 13940 per tonne, RMB 13960 per tonne, RMB 13900 per tonne, and RMB 13955 per tonne.

Shanghai Metals Market data showed inventories of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China stood at 98,800 tonnes as of Thursday November 14, down 13,500 tonnes from November 7. It also marked its fifth straight weekly decline. 

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price remained restrained at RMB 14500 per tonne. The price is expected to range at RMB 14400 per tonne-14600 per tonne.
