On December 30, Bahrain’s Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC) went into an agreement with Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), where the latter would fund the construction and look after the functionality of the Club’s grandstand. The aluminium company would be crucial in sharing important expertise regarding the development of the aluminium-studded grandstand.
The Chairman of the REHC High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in explicit details, referred to the contribution of the private sector in enhancing the Kingdom’s horse racing industry.
His Highness Shaikh Isa seemed immensely grateful for the help received from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in building a profitable horse racing sector in Bahrain.
A grandstand is the elevated portion of a sports ground where sitting arrangements are made for the people to view the ground’s activities with ease. In simple terms, it is the ground’s gallery, and its construction usually requires a lot of robust aluminium extrusions and building components.
His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the Deputy Chairman of the REHC Higher Committee, also asserted that the constitution of the grandstand would evolve the Club’s internal facilities, transforming it into a premium sports and event location.
His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid was extremely vocal about Alba’s intense contributions to the development of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club.
Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alba, exclaimed that this fundraiser is an elongated plan of the aluminium leader to actively support the Kingdom’s economy. This would further solidify Alba’s national role as a significant contributor to the country’s growth and economy.
The sponsorship agreement was hand signed by the Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs at REHC, Shaikh Salman bin Rashed al-Khalifa and the Chief Executive Officer of Alba, Ali Al Baqali. Eminent personalities who chaired the business congregation were the Deputy Chairman of the REHC Higher Committee, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and the Executive Director of Operations at the REHC, Yusuf Buheji.
Other important associates and operatives from both parties were also present to secure and oversee the alliance.
