Seventh Heaven Fiji is a floating platform featuring a restaurant and bar along with leisure facilities on board. The floating day club will be located near Malolo Island in the Mamanuca group, when it is launched as Fiji’s latest floating pontoon with a current target of July’20.
Sanjay Kumar Deo, GM, Seventh Heaven Fiji said: “The uncertainty of current times propelled them to work harder and ensure business operated as usual. Our whole team is working extremely hard in the background to ensure we are all ready to go when restrictions are lifted.”
Seventh Heaven Fiji employs 15 staffs and might increase to over 40 employees when it is in full operation. The Seventh Heaven Fiji floating platform offers all the modern comforts of a home setting.
Owned by a private consortium, the project cost over $3 million and took approximately three years to build at Fantasy Island in Nadi.
Mr Deo said: “The floating facility could hold up to 150 people comfortably, at any one time. The platform is designed to provide a family-friendly atmosphere, with a Fijian background offering modern comforts in crystal clear and safe snorkelling waters in the Mamanucas.”
Seventh Heaven Fiji features a gift shop, ice cream and smoothie bar, and facilities for people who are physically disabled.
Mr Deo said: “Free Wi-Fi, safe snorkelling and other water activities, comfortable seating and lounges for large group activities such as kava drinking, with local Fijian songs and cultural displays, will also be featured.”
The company invested $450,000 in an aluminium multi-hull catamaran which it named Seventh Heaven. The catamaran will service the Port Denarau Marina and Seventh Heaven Fiji platform daily with a maximum of 45 passengers one way.
