Aluminium Solutions Group welcomes Edouard Guinotte as President and Chief Executive Officer

On Tuesday, January 3, OpenGate Capital, a global private equity firm, announced the joining of Mr Edouard Guinotte as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aluminium Solutions Group (ASG). ASG is a brand-new organisation established in September 2022 through the acquisition of OpenGate Capital portfolio businesses Aluminium France Extrusion (AFE) and Extrusiones de Toledo (EXTOL).

Guinotte was the Chairman and CEO of Vallourec Group until March 2022, a pioneer in seamless steel pipe for the energy and industrial industries, before joining ASG. Guinotte held many operational and functional responsibilities at Vallourec over his 25-year career in France and abroad. With this, he is looking forward to using his expertise and drive to establish ASG as a new front-runner in the European market for aluminium extruded profiles.

From 2011 to 2014, Guinotte served as the president of Vallourec USA Corporation, the company's commercial and distribution subsidiary based in Houston, Texas. In 2017, he joined the group's Executive Committee and assumed leadership of the Middle East-Asia Region, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, until 2019.
