On December 21, an event called "Export of Transformational Industries and Their Role in Promoting Global Environmental Sustainability" was organised in Bahrain to discuss the environmental and sustainability issues faced across the entire aluminium value chain and how to reduce them.
{alcircleadd}The event was hosted by the Gulf Hotel under the eminent patronage of Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and was chaired by personalities like Piyush Srivastava, Ambassador of India to Bahrain. The event was materialised by the active deliberation of Taha International Industrial Services and Export Bahrain.
This event recognised advanced technologies that can be applied to lower emissions and help achieve a sustainable discourse around the aluminium-producing and manufacturing sectors.
The event called for the attention of over 150 participants, hosting attendees from both the public and the private industries. The entire conference was basically initiated after Bahrain-based Taha International Industrial Services successfully developed a sustainable hot dross processing technology.
During the presentation, a partnership agreement was displayed, assuring the collaboration between Taha International Industrial Services and Runaya of Indian origin, under the control of Export Bahrain.
The Chief Executive Officer of Taha International Industrial Services, Ammar Awachi, sounded optimistic about the partnership as he mentioned: "The hot dross processing units will provide ground-breaking sustainable aluminium solutions that will revolutionise the aluminium industry in India as a result of this cooperation."
To further promote his thoughts, he stated: "The development of zero-waste solutions for the aluminium industry in Bahrain promotes not only economic growth within the Kingdom but also supports worldwide efforts towards environmental sustainability through the export of these technologies."
Moreover, a panel-based discussion was conducted where important indicators and different ways of battling probable consequences were decoded, including the need to develop new patents to curtail waste and advertise the green industry.
The conference showed how Bahrain aims to evolve its research and technological advancements to place the country at the helm of environmental sustainability, setting an example all across the globe.
The event was strategically posed to amplify Export Bahrain's urge to locate avenues and single out areas for vital partnerships between Bahrain-based organisations and their equivalent global counterparts.
The Chief Executive Officer of Export Bahrain, Safa Sharif Abdulkhaliq, praised Bahraini youths' exceptional abilities and expertise, reassuring the crowd about Export Bahrain's unique ambition of enhancing technological solutions that originate from the country.
"Integrating elevated sustainability practices into export operations will result in enhanced economic vitality," she concluded her argument.
