In a concerted effort to promote eco-friendliness and sustainability, the Austin Convention Center has partnered with Boomerang to introduce its state-of-the-art, eco-friendly bottling system to the center.
Situated at the very core of the lively and bustling city of Austin, Texas, the Austin Convention Center (ACC) is a coveted venue for a diverse range of events, conferences, and gatherings. With this innovative system, ACC is effectively reducing the amount of plastic waste generated at the hub and contributing to a greener future for Austin.
{alcircleadd}Hailing from the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the Laurel Highlands in Pennsylvania, Nemacolin Resort is an exquisite destination that is renowned for its luxury and unparalleled hospitality. As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, they have announced the incorporation of Boomerang's Bottling System to their resort this fall. This cutting-edge system will provide the guests with fresh, ultra-filtered, locally sourced water while simultaneously promoting the adoption of sustainable practices and contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
The Boomerang Bottling System, or BBS, is truly a remarkable innovation in its own right. Not only does it have the ability to clean, refill, and reseal used glass or aluminium bottles, but it also propels a circular economy and diverts an enormous amount of waste from landfills. By harnessing the power of this technology, the company is taking yet another step towards building a more sustainable, eco-friendly future for generations to come.
At one occasion Jerrod Freund, one of the Co-founders had said: “Given the positive impact relative to single-use plastic, and the vast use of single-use plastic, we believe BBS is highly impactful. It almost acts as a double impact between the plastic waste and the carbon footprint associated with bottling water and shipping thousands of miles.”
