On Thursday, May 5, Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) announced the joining of CASS, Inc. as its new production and transformation member.
CASS is a ferrous and non-ferrous metal processor that specialises in converting end-of-life metal products into chlorine-free aluminium.
The company is an LME-registered trademark based in Northern California that has been servicing the local and international markets since 1969. Their main aim is to make a positive contribution to the society and also promote a culture that supports sustainable approach to natural resource management.
“CASS has been sustainably recycling society’s obsolete metal products & manufacturing 100% recycled, chlorine-free aluminum since 1969. By joining The Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI), we commit to fostering responsible sourcing & manufacturing of aluminum while also contributing to the improvement of global industry standards,” Edward B. Kangeter IV, Chief Executive Officer at CASS.
