China’s imports of aluminium alloy increased 35.7 per cent year-on-year in January, 2018. China imported 5562 tonnes of aluminium alloy from the global market, according to the latest import-export data published by China General Customs.

The United Arab Emirates exported the largest amount of aluminium alloy. China’s imports from the United Arab Emirates were increased 237 per cent YoY in January. Other top countries which supplied aluminium alloy to China were Taiwan (China), Russia, Malaysia, South Korea and others.
China’s aluminium alloy export volumes increased 4.43 per cent year-on-year in January 2018. The country shipped 44,568 tonnes of aluminium alloy. In 2017, China exported 536,880 tonnes of aluminium alloy.

Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, and Taiwan (China) were the major importers of Chinese aluminium alloy in January.
