EN+ Group bags Green Light award organised by Schneider Electric

The globally recognized largest producer of low carbon aluminium, En+ Group has been declared as the winner for ESG breakthrough at the Green Light awards organised by Schneider Electric.

The award is specified to the company operating in Russia with the strongest improvement in ESG performance over the last three years and reflects En+ Group’s commitment to delivering a low-carbon economy.

En+ was evaluated on the development of its sustainable development agenda, consistent engagement in ESG disclosure, and continuous improvement in these areas. In the last year alone, the company has delivered a science-based roadmap to net zero emissions by 2050 and launched the world’s lowest carbon aluminium made using ground-breaking inert anode technology.

Schneider Electric launched the Green Light Awards earlier in 2021 intending to encourage new approaches for delivering on climate goals and sustainable development by uniting a community of businesses and experts.

The awards were considered Russian and international companies and were coordinated in partnership with Skolkovo and the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel Energy Complex.
