On Thursday, October 28, both LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME aluminium official settlement moved up by US$17 or by 0.62 percent to close at US$2,720.50 per tonne and US$2,721 per tonne respectively. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price ascended to US$2,732 per tonne and US$2,733 per tonne. December 22 bid price and December 22 offer price was recorded at US$2,668 per tonne and US$2,673 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock on October 28 closed at 1051350 tonnes. Live warrants stood at 625350 tonnes and cancelled warrants settled at 426000 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Thursday, October 28, stood at US$2,682.55 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
On Friday, October 29, the benchmark aluminium price for SHFE ascended by US$124 per tonne to total at US$3,184 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2112 aluminium closed down 4.14 percent or RMB 860 per tonne to RMB 19920 per tonne, with open interest down 14378 lots to 206531 lots.
