LME aluminium opened at US$2,285 per tonne on Monday and closed at US$2,255 per tonne, down 1.38 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Monday, October 10, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price declined by US$67.5 per tonne or 2.88 per cent and US$68 per tonne or 2.90 per cent to settle at US$2,273.50 per tonne and US$2,274 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price slumped by US$67 per tonne or 2.85 per cent and US$67.5 per tonne or 2.87 per cent to reside at US$2,277 per tonne and US$2,278 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price dwindled by US$70 per tonne or 2.87 per cent to record at US$2,363 per tonne and US$2,368 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock stood at 327675 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants were halted at 269925 tonnes and 57750 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price contracted by US$71.1 per tonne or 3.04 per cent to peg at US$2,261.05 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Tuesday, October 11, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price descended by US$16 per tonne or 0.61 per cent to score at US$2,592 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2211 aluminium closed up 1.56 per cent or RMB 285 per tonne to RMB 18,565 per tonne, with open interest down 4,352 lots to 156,489 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2211 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,640 per tonne overnight and fell to RMB 18,485 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,580 per tonne, up 0.35 per cent.
