On Monday, January 31, LME aluminium cash (bid) price dropped by US$34 per tonne or by 1.09% to score at US$3,074 per tonne. On the other hand, LME aluminium official settlement price also went down by US$34 per tonne or by 1.09% to score at US$3,076 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price settled at US$3,050 per tonne and US$3,052 per tonne. December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price also recorded at US$2,783 per tonne and US$2,788 per tonne, for the same day.
LME aluminium opening stock pegged at 799475 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants for the same day registered at 449525 tonnes and 349950 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price also totalled at US$3,068.50 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
The most-traded SHFE 2203 aluminium closed up 2.05 per cent or RMB 440 per tonne to RMB 21,950 per tonne on Friday night, with open interest down 1415 lots to 203307 lots.
