LME aluminium opened at US$2,284 per tonne on Thursday and closed at US$2,277 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price both witnessed an US$25.50 per tonne or 1.14 per cent hike to rest at US$2,255.50 per tonne and US$2,256 per tonne on Thursday, September 8.
3-month bid price ascended by 1.34 per cent or US$30 per tonne to stand at US$2,267 per tonne, while the 3-month offer price witnessed a similar spike closing at US$2,268 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price gained 1.51 per cent or US$35 per tonne stopping at US$2,347 per tonne and US$2,352 per tonne, respectively.
LME aluminium opening stock continued to decline by 0.15 per cent or 475 tonnes, from 309,500 tonnes to 309,025 tonnes as of September 8.
Live warrants totalled 230,125 tonnes, with a rise of 0.46 per cent or 1,050 tonnes.
Cancelled warrants read 78,900 tonnes, shedding 1.9 per cent or 1,525 tonnes from the day before.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price came in at US$2,273.14 per tonne, after 0.92 per cent or US$20.85 per tonne was added to it.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on September 9, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price experienced a US$59 per tonne or 2.23 per cent upward strike to arrive at US$2,709 per tonne, if compared with yesterday’s data.
The most-traded SHFE 2210 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,525 per tonne overnight, and rose to RMB 18,625 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,605 per tonne, up RMB 160 per tonne or 0.87 per cent.
The most-traded SHFE 2210 aluminium closed up 1.64 per cent or RMB 300 per tonne to RMB 18,605 per tonne, with open interest up 5,127 lots to 166,710 lots.
