On 6th September 2021, the Govt. of India stated that state-owned Navratna CPSE Company Nalco has been performing a vital role in empowering micro and small enterprises by providing a modern and innovative platform NAMASYA, an application (App) developed exclusively for the convenience of the PSU's MSE vendors.
NALCO Micro and Small enterprise communication application NAMASYA provides a platform to feature the efforts of National Aluminium Company Ltd towards the development of the MSEs.
The Mines Ministry said: “The bilingual app enables MSEs with required information about the vendor registration process, itineraries that can be supplied by them with technical specification, vendor development and training programmes of Nalco.”
Nalco is India’s leading producer and exporter of alumina and aluminium and also being an accountable corporate, the aluminium company has undertaken multiple initiatives towards mitigating the process of doing business, particularly for the MSE sector associated in mining and metal business and advancing comprehensive growth and sustainable development in its ecosystem.
Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of Mines, Coal and Parliamentary Affairs applauded Nalco's attempt for extending to the MSE community and development of the ecosystem within the mining and mineral sector of the country.
