The Indian state-run integrated aluminium company Nalco has attained the highest ever half-yearly production of cast metal in the 2021-22 financial year.
{alcircleadd}On 5th September 2021, Pralhad Joshi, the Union Coal and Mines Minister congratulated the company on the achievement by saying: “NALCO has yet again reached another milestone in its glorious journey of Business Excellence. The Navratna CPSE has achieved the highest ever half-yearly Production of Cast Metal since inception in H1 FY22.”
“Nalco produced 22,6,028 tonne of cast metal in 2021-22 financial year so far compared to 204,143 of the previous fiscal.”
The company produced 17.61 lakh tonne bauxite, 5.21 lakh tonne alumina and 1.14 lakh tonne aluminium respectively during the June quarter, compared to 17.10 lakh tonne, 4.65 lakh tonne and 0.98 lakh tonne in the comparative phase of the previous fiscal.
