Following hot on the heels of the carbon fibre Terra gravel and adventure bike, Orbea reportedly launches an aluminium version Terra Hydro. It is a versatile aluminium all-rounder bike which they say will “make any terrain rideable.”
Orbea has designed the new bike in such a manner so that it can fit in all purposes and a variety of uses - gravel, road, cyclocross courses, and the like. The bike will be available in three different models and colours.
This aluminium-framed bike features all-road geometry and generous tyre clearances and comes with the options to mount mudguards and racks, and a dynamic structure and internal wiring. It also features a carbon fork and will be available in a range of six sizes.
"Terra is designed to be at home on dirt, gravel or just about anything else you might encounter," said an Orbea spokesperson. "The ergonomics work for cyclocross, all-day rides and the occasional long training day on the road. Handling is precise and intuitive. Angles and dimensions are considered carefully across a range of sizes to maximize rider comfort."
Orbea is a Spain-based bicycle manufacturer and one of the oldest cycling companies in the world. It designs and builds bicycles with some of the higher-cost bikes which are made in Portugal while all others made at the Orbea factory in Mallabia. Every tiny detail on its bikes is the result of hours of research and development; each design line carefully considered, each component hand selected to provide the best possible riding experience, without compromise.
