According to the Shanghai Metals Market, prebaked anode price in East China has soared by RMB 315 per tonne on June 1, 2021, to stand at RMB 4,712.50 per tonne. This marks an increase after almost a month of restraint at RMB 4,397.50 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 4,225 per tonne and RMB 5,200 per tonne.
In Central China, prebaked anode price has expanded by RMB 230 per tonne to come in at RMB 4,450 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 4,300 per tonne and RMB 4,600 per tonne.
Among the other primary aluminium input costs, Australian alumina FOB price has gained US$ 3 per tonne to stand at US$ 279 per tonne since the last growth of the same amount to US$ 276 per tonne on May 11, found SMM.
Meanwhile, aluminium powder price has dipped by RMB 0.10 per kg to stand at RMB 22.25 per kg on June 1. Average prices are expected to range between RMB 22.20 per kg and RMB 22.30 per kg.
A00 aluminium ingot price recorded a downfall for the second day in a row, according to SMM. As of June 1, the price is standing at RMB 18,710 per tonne, decreasing by RMB 70 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,690 per tonne and RMB 18,730 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.
In Gongyi, Foshan, and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has also declined by RMB 70 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,690 per tonne, RMB 18,860 per tonne, and RMB 18,700 per tonne, respectively. Only in Chongqing, the price has increased by RMB 35 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,830 per tonne on June 1.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has remained restrained at RMB 19,450 per tonne, while aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have decreased by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne, respectively.
