Gurgaon-based automotive components supplier Sandhar Engineering has declared the fruitful commissioning of a high-tech parts manufacturing plant in Mysore, Karnataka. The company is a prime supplier of automotive locking & security systems, zinc and aluminium die-casted components and other structural parts to two-wheeler or car giants like Royal Enfield, Ashok Leyland and Tata Motors.
{alcircleadd}The company’s aluminium PDC components designated for cars, commercial vehicles or two-wheelers are forged in Barcelona, Mexico and Bawal. They have an impressive capacity of 120 tonnes to 550 tonnes in manufacturing aluminium alloy die-casted parts.
Sandhar is a tier 1 supplier for the two-wheeler market and the passenger and commercial vehicle arena in India. This new establishment was publicised through the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Sandhar Engineering.
The company has accomplished the primary trials and has assured that commercial operations in the plant have been streamlined, with mass manufacturing planned for October. Sandhar is positive that this new addition will amplify the firm’s production speed, increasing its share of sheet metal components in the market. The company is looking forward to monopolising the automotive sector for OEMs.
