United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based premium coffee maker Coffee Planet has received four revered awards in the Middle East. The counterpart of Ludlow Coffee Group was anointed with the 'UAE Superbrand' title at the 19th Annual Superbrands Tribute in Dubai. In an act to revamp itself, the brand has introduced aluminium coffee pods, which highlights its sustainability goals.
{alcircleadd}The parameters usually considered while choosing a winner revolve around any company's sustainability approach and societal values. The brand received acknowledgement for providing consumers with significant emotional and/or physical benefits over their competitors. Coffee Planet believes in a people-centric approach where the user is given the utmost priority, but slowly it is finding ways to become more sustainable.
Coffee Planet has received two prestigious awards at the Middle East Management Excellence Awards, which is a testament to the company's commitment to growth and strategic investments. The awards include the 'Team of the Year - Food & Beverage' and the 'National Business Award for Food and Beverage'.
The former was presented to Coffee Planet for its focus on investing in people through training, development, and employee engagement, while the latter was awarded for the development of new products and propositions, including its revamped brand identity and packaging, Campus by Coffee Planet, and the introduction of aluminium capsules and instant coffee.
Coffee Planet CEO Jamie Brown was also recognised as a 'Food Service Icon' at the Retail Middle East Magazine Food Service Icons Awards, which is a great honour and acknowledges his dedication to the food service industry.
The CEO declared in a statement: "We attribute this phenomenal year to the efforts of our wonderful team, our strategic investments in the business and people, and the unique proposition of striving to make speciality coffee accessible to all."
Founded in the UAE in 2005, Coffee Planet has grown into a leading provider of speciality coffee, serving five-star hotels, airlines, offices, and restaurants, as well as retail outlets and online channels. The company's success can be attributed to its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
To continue its growth in 2024, Coffee Planet has added three new members to its leadership team, including Rob Saunders as Chief Finance Officer, Wesley Morrissey as Sales Director, and Matthew Yorke Smith as Chief Operating Officer. This move is expected to strengthen the company's position in the market and help it achieve its goal of making speciality coffee accessible to all customers, channels, and markets globally.
