Located in Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar, the Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 is an exclusive investment forum in East India dedicated to steering forward the economic growth of Odisha and subsequently positioning the Indian state as a globally competitive investment destination. The conclave intends participation from both domestic and international investors, positioning Odisha as the industrial powerhouse of Eastern India.

Visitors to Hall A-16 can partake in Vedanta Aluminium’s manufacturing excellence showcase, sustainability initiatives, and community development programmes. The pavilion features interactive displays, live demonstrations of Odisha’s traditional handicrafts, and audio-visual experiences offering a closer look at the company’s

advanced operations.

This event will strike as a hub for putting a spotlight onto Odisha’s industrial strengths, strategic edges, and extensive growth opportunities. The Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 will feature a meticulously curated two-day agenda with intellect-tingling sessions, sectoral discussions, and thought leadership exchanges.

Mr Sampad Chandra Swain, Industries Minister of Odisha, conveyed, “Our vision for Odisha’s industrial growth is aligned with the national vision of a developed India. Together with the Central Government, we are building a future where Odisha stands as a gateway for trade, innovation, and industrial excellence, offering a seamless experience to every investor and entrepreneur who chooses to be part of this journey.”

Vedanta’s participation in the conclave is strategised to be led by Mr Anil Agarwal, Founder and Chairman, Vedanta Group, further bolstering its committed partnership with the Indian state and its long-spanning strides towards the state’s development.

Under his leadership, Vedanta Aluminium has been a pivotal patron to Odisha’s industrial growth, making close to 3 per cent of the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and driving investments of over INR 1 lakh crore, the company’s single most significant investment globally. With transformative projects like the 3.5 million tonnes per year alumina refinery in Lanjigarh and the 1.8 million tonnes per annum aluminium smelter in Jharsuguda, one of the largest in the world, Vedanta Aluminium is committed to value addition within the state by transforming Odisha’s abundant bauxite reserves into high-quality aluminium products for domestic and international markets.
