Tadweer Group has rolled out 25 Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at key locations throughout Abu Dhabi, such as Umm Al Emarat Park and Zayed International Airport, with further installations on the way. This initiative is a collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), ADNEC Group, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, and Khadamat Facilities Management as part of UAE University.

This partnership aims to maximise the value of waste by employing advanced solutions like waste masters and anaerobic digesters, along with other innovative technologies. Tadweer Group is showcasing its dedication to research and development by introducing technologies such as Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) to promote a circular economy and support national net zero ambitions.
The Tadweer Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) was unveiled at the 10th EcoWASTE Exhibition and Conference in April. During the event, Tadweer Group demonstrated the machine's capabilities, including recycling plastic bottles and aluminium cans.

MoU with ADNEC Group in April
Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in April, Tadweer Group and ADNEC Group have pledged to implement sustainable practices across various assets and locations, including the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

In conjunction with the RVM deployment, Tadweer Group has also launched the Tadweer Rewards application. This program incentivises recycling by allowing users to earn points that can be redeemed for exciting rewards from various partner merchants.
