As of Wednesday, March 31, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2212.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2212.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2235 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2235 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2256 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2256 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1897075 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1330350 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 566725 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2229.11 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2626 per tonne on Thursday, 1 April 2021.
The most-active SHFE 2105 aluminium contract shed 1.32% to end the day at RMB17,155 per tonne on Wednesday, 31 March 2021. The most-liquid SHFE 2105 aluminium contract rose 0.76% to close at an intraday high of RMB17,285 per tonne in overnight trading. It is likely to trade between RMB17,100-17,400 per tonne today.
