Three-month LME aluminium rose 0.56% to close at US$2,413.5 per tonne on Thursday. Aluminium stocks increased 56,350 tonnes and Klang inventory grew 61,150 tonnes, and the upward pressure appeared, SMM reported. The contract is likely to trade between US$2,400-2,430 per tonne today.

The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1838950 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1245350 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 593600 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2426.17 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2916 per tonne on Friday, 30 April 2021.
The most-liquid SHFE 2106 aluminium contract finished the day 2.33% higher at RMB18,865 per tonne on Thursday. The contract rose 0.69% to settle at RMB18,870 per tonne on Thursday night, and is likely to trade between 18,700-19,000 today.
