Bahrain’s M-o-M exports of aluminium crude metals and alloys to the United States for February 2022 had dropped by 48,460 tonnes or 83.26 per cent from 58,200 tonnes in January 2022. The amount for February 2022 closed at 9,740 tonnes. On an M-o-M scale in January, the price had escalated by 28,600 tonnes or 96.62 per cent, from 29,600 tonnes in December 2021.
{alcircleadd}The total amount of aluminium crude metals and alloys imported by the United States in February 2022 closed at 262,000 tonnes which on an M-o-M calculation plummeted by 81,000 tonnes or 23.61 per cent from 343,000 tonnes in January 2022. In January, a surge of 27,000 tonnes or 8.54 per cent was recorded from 316,000 tonnes in December 2021.
From January to December 2021, 3,630,000 tonnes of aluminium crude metals and alloys were imported by the United States. As per the USGS data, in February 2022, the highest quantity of aluminium crude metals and alloys was imported from Australia, with the amount closing at 27,100 tonnes. The highest exporter was Mexico, with the amount settling at 11,500 tonnes.
