Yamaha’s Booster Electric Bike range arrives with lightweight aluminium framework

Yamaha has unveiled its BOOSTER range of Easy eBike and pedelec electric bikes, developed in Europe to suffice the swiftly augmenting need for cleaner, quieter, energy saving and more feasible urban transport.

The modernistic yet minimalist design sports a protruding die-cast aluminium front frame, a pair of spoked wheels with fat 20" x 4" tyres, and a classic U-frame specification that gives ease in handling the vehicle.

Driven by an ultra-compact and lightweight Yamaha PW-S2 drive unit that delivers seamless power, the new BOOSTER models are ready to make every part of the metropolis easily accessible to the new generation of riders who live, work and play in the city.

In the past, Yamaha's BW scooter and MBK Booster were trendy among young riders who wanted to experience the thrill and independence of riding on two wheels.

Now, the new BOOSTER models, powered by advanced Yamaha technology and built with a durable and classic design, provide a convenient, fun, and eco-friendly way for urban residents to get around their communities without producing harmful emissions.

Yamaha's new BOOSTER Easy and BOOSTER look technically similar and are impossible to differentiate since they visually share an identical lightweight chassis design.

The main distinction between BOOSTER Easy and BOOSTER is their performance. BOOSTER Easy is classified as an eBike with a maximum pedal-assisted speed of 25km/h. On the other hand, BOOSTER is categorized as an AM license S-pedelec or electric moped with a top pedal-assisted speed of 45km/h.
