On Thursday, March 23, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,150 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,130 per tonne and RMB 18,170 per tonne. On a W-o-W calculation, the aluminium ingot price moved up by RMB 10 per tonne from RMB 18,140 per tonne recorded on March 16. The spot contract price as of today is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 100 to RMB 60 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}As per the data, the prices in Linyi and Gongyi have increased by RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,210 per tonne and RMB 18,080 per tonne. On the same day, prices in both Foshan and Shenyang climbed up by RMB 30 per tonne to close at RMB 18,280 per tonne and RMB 18,170 per tonne. Only in Chongqing and Wuxi, the prices have gone down by RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 5 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,260 per tonne and RMB 18,090 per tonne. In Hangzhou and Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have shown no change to halt at RMB 18,130 per tonne and RMB 18,150 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has increased by RMB 30 per tonne to reach RMB 18,862 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have hiked by RMB 100 per tonne to score at RMB 25,900 per tonne and RMB 26,900 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has increased by RMB 50 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,100 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,900 per tonne and RMB 19,300 per tonne. On the other hand, both aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 20,250 per tonne.
The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.01 per kg to settle at RMB 19.9 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 19.8 per kg and RMB 20 per kg.
