On Thursday, May 25, China's A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,110 per tonne. W-o-W, a decline of RMB 490 per tonne was registered from RMB 18,600 per tonne recorded last May 18. Today, the average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,090 per tonne and RMB 18,130 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 120 per tonne to RMB 160 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}On the same day, the aluminium ingot prices in Chongqing and Foshan ascended by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,130 per tonne and RMB 18,080 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have gained RMB 20 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,100 per tonne, flowed by Linyi, where the price has increased by RMB 20 per tonne to score at RMB 18,160 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have increased by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to reach RMB 18,160 per tonne and RMB 18,180 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has expanded by RMB 41 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,673 per tonne. The average alumina spot price has inched down by RMB 1 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,862, followed by a fall of RMB 5 per tonne in Shandong to clock at RMB 2,865 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A356) have shown no change to settle at RMB 18,500 per tonne and RMB 18,900 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the price has remained unchanged at RMB 19,500 per tonne.
